EMAILS COULD TAKE SEVERAL DAYS (OR OCCASIONALLY LONGER) TO GET A RESPONSE. THANK YOU! When does the Park open? We are open year round from 9AM to sunset. Is there a fee to use the Park? Yes, there is a use fee charged year round. The list of fees can be found here: http://bradburymountain.com/park-fees.html. If the entrance booth is unattended there is a green canister into which the proper fee can be deposited. Also, please note that the only authorized access to the trails is through the main gate at Bradbury Mountain State Park. Parking along Route #9 or in the church parking lot to avoid paying the entrance fee is legally considered a theft of services. GROUPS SHOULD CALL IN ADVANCE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH PARK STAFF. How do I reserve a campsite? Beginning Monday, September 12, 2011, all campsites are first-come/first-served, and off-season rates apply. The fee is $10.70 for residents and $19.26 for non-residents, per night. Maine's 7% Lodging Tax is included in these prices. Reservations can be made between the dates of May 21 and September 9, 2012. If you're calling from in-state the number is 1-800-332-1501. If calling from out of state it is 1-207-624-9950. Please note, the Call Center is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM and is closed on weekends and holidays. In the meantime, please feel free to visit the website, print campground maps, and prepare for next year's camping trips to Maine State Parks. Pets are allowed in the park, campground and on trails if on a leash, under restraint, and cleaned up after. Horses are allowed on designated trails and manure must be swept off the side of the trail. Can I reserve the picnic shelter? Yes, a reservation can be made by calling the park at 1-207-688-4712. There is a $100 nonrefundable reservation fee that must be recieved prior to your groups arrival. Group visitors are required to pay the day use fee at the entrance booth upon their arrival at the park, unless other arrangements have been made with Park staff. How do I reserve the Group Campsite? You may do so by calling us at 1-207-688-4712. There is a $25 nonrefundable reservation fee for each non-consecutive night that must be recieved prior to your groups arrival. The camping fee is $3.21 per person per night with a minimum of $32.10 (price includes Maine's lodging tax). Payment must be made upon arrival unless other arrangements have been made with the Park. |
